Merry Christmas crafty friends! The color challenge is classy this week at Create with Connie and Mary as you can see!
I decided to keep mine simple because of the large gold foil panel. I stamped right on the foil using StazOn ink. and added just a wee bit of stripped paper from the Neutrals Color Collection DSP.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out the other designer’s cards at Create with Connie and Mary. Their work is sooo very pretty and inspiring! Merry Christmas to you all and many wishes for a very happy new year!!
Hello crafting friends!
There is a fun sketch this week at Create with Connie and Mary! I brought out my favorite color for this one. MELON MAMBO and a lot of it!
Here is my take:
I haven’t played with my fringe scissors in awhile and decided to get them out. I also decided to play with the tried and true uni-ball Signo gel pen. I used it to draw dots on my Bermuda Bay card stock. The white shows up great! I decided to use the Honeycomb embossing folder, I felt that it mimicked the shapes in the Back to Black DSP nicely. I used the new hand held stapler to attach my 1/4″ cotton ribbon and bling. 😉
I used Sassy Salutations for my sentiment. Just felt that it paired nice with my sassy pink. 🙂 Come play this week’s sketch challenge here!
Here is another shot of the white ink from the uni-ball Signo pen on the Bermuda Bay:
Hope everyone has a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
One of my very good friends got a job that she really wanted. She no longer has to deal with Washington D.C. traffic (which is a total nightmare!). I was really happy for her and I wanted to let her know it and voila!
For this card I used Crumb Cake card stock for the base and matting of the sentiment. The DSP, Gingham Garden, is perfectly matched up with the Strawberry Slush card stock. This gem is topped off with a white button and Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon along with pearl jewels. Sassy Salutations is the stamp I chose for my sassy friend. ❤
