It’s true, I am posting a Christmas card when Halloween is the day after tomorrow but it is for a good cause! I made some cards that are going to be used in a charity auction, Create for Love’s Sake. All proceeds go to the organization Love146. You can find out more about it here: http://www.love146.org
This is a C.A.S.E. card from my holiday swap group. Ms. Jennifer Turoff came up with the design and it is so cute and SO easy to mass produce! I whipped a batch of these up last night. Hmm… Now that sounds like I made dessert. It is sweet, but not so sure about the taste! 😉
I am working on Christmas cards for a card swap and this is one of the ideas that I came up with. It is using the new Designer Series Paper, Season of Style, with Old Olive cards stock. I scored the card stock giving it a plaid look that ties in with the plaid in the paper. Of course I can’t forget about the new foil sheets found in the new holiday catalog (get with me if you’d like a copy!). The silver scallop adds a little glimmer to the card. The stamp is Merry Little Christmas and it was cut using the “Chalk Talk” framelit set. The bow is the new chevron ribbon in Cherry Cobbler.
Hope you like it as much as I do! 🙂
