Hello crafty friends! I’m here with a color challenge from Create with Connie and Mary and I’m happy to report that I am feeling MUCH better thanks to some good ol’ antibiotics!
Isn’t this a pretty trio?! I may have cheated just a wee bit but honestly, is it that glaring to you?
So there is no Elegant Eggplant in my Bohemian DSP, but I like it I dare say! I also like the chevron paired with the Boho Chic embossing folder. It just gives it a Southwestern look to me for some reason. I added some linen thread to add to the feel and topped off my sentiment with a flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack but in this instance we’ll call it a desert rose. 😉
And there you have it! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll come play along with this week’s color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary and if you cheat on your paper, I won’t tell a soul! 🙂
Ahhh yes, it’s that time again. Sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary! I got some goodies in that I just had to use for this card!
I knew as soon as I saw the sketch that I wanted to use the Expressions Natural Elements. I also used the new Cherry on Top DSP stack! Love how this is 6×6 too. I used the Petite Petals and the flower from Itty Bitty Accents Punch to make my little flower. My color combo is the new Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder and Whisper White.
Anywho, Come and play along you can also take a peek at the other designer’s cards here! 🙂
Have I ever told you about my wonderful neighbors? Well my sweet neighbor Kristina left a bottle of wine on my doorstep on my anniversary so this card is for her.
The stamp set that I used I got for FREE during sale-a-bration! It’s called “Best Day Ever”. I also topped it with a button that I got for free from the “Best Year Ever” accessory pack. I used the new beautiful, shiny, and lovely Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim from the Occasions Catalog. Geez, you would think I like that stuff or something. 😉
The texture you’re seeing comes from the Happy Heart Textured Impressions folder. I paired the Bermuda Bay with Melon Mambo and for a little fun threw in the Calypso Coral. The wee little hearts I made from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit that I posted last time. That thing is VERSATILE! And I just happen to love it!
I think this card packs a punch with color, texture, and dimension thanks to my lovely dimensionals adhesive under the banner! I hope you like it and I hope that the lovely Kristina does too! 🙂
Happy Fall Ya’ll!
I recently had a Pinterest Party at my house and I made these cute little boxes for my neighbors. Most everything on these boxes are retired Stampin’ Up products that I just happen to LOVE! I hoard them for special occasions like this.
There is a great tutorial from Splitcoaststampers that I found on making these boxes here. These are simple enough to make and then you get to do the fun stuff, DECORATE!
The leaves on the boxes are from the Autumn Accents Die that is still current. I ran the leaves through the Big Shot using the lattice embossing folder giving it some nice texture. And how about that great texture on the core’dinations paper?!
Anywho, on my next post I’ll show what was inside these cute boxes! I’m trying to figure out how to add a supply list on these posts but apparently I can’t because of the .net of the address??? This stuff is mega confusing for me so if you have any suggestions please let me know! Also, if you have any questions on any of the products used give me a shout! 🙂
Hello There! Are you a paper hoarder like me? Does any of this paper look familiar to you? It may not because it is quite a few years old and it has been sitting in my secret stash of scraps. I just cannot purge. It is too much to bare! So… I decided to use them! These cute note cards are all made from scratch paper, even the card stock was scratch. I hereby announce that not one single sheet of 8.5 x 11 card stock was cut!
The stamps are all current though. We have the Four Frames, Petite Pairs, and Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I made a little gift box for someone and put a couple of these cute numbers in there. I took the pic of the box in a hurry with my cell phone and the picture is so awful that I put it in black and white. It’s just so busy with the counter top, paper, ribbon, and reflection from an empty box of cupcakes. 😉
