Hey Hey!! Sorry for the mild break. Life is busy with a baby! Here is another share as promised.
I know, you must be thinking “but Bridgette, you promised another card using Letterpress Winter”. Oh, but I have dear friends! This sentiment is from the Letterpress Winter. I told you this set was versatile! This doesn’t even come close to looking like a Christmas card! 🙂
I haven’t done a challenge in a long time so I decided to play at CAS(E) this Sketch!. I got a little playful with this one. I colored in my DSP with a blendability marker and cut my chevron ribbon in half. Because Stampin’ Up card stock is so awesome I used it to thread my button and made little curly cues by wrapping it around a skewer. The dots around the sentiment are just different sized circle punches that I used on the glimmer paper. I hope you like it!
I told you that I’d be back with another Letterpress Winter share! My goal is to show different card examples with the one set. I have used a lot of the new in color, Lost Lagoon, but you could use any color here!
I razzle-dazzled here with the new Frosted Sequins and Glimmer Paper. I LOVE that stuff! I am serious when I say that I would love to have an entire wall in it but my husband nixed that idea. He said it’d be too “Elvis”. 😉
Anyway, I showed my lovely neighbor and friend, Lara, my collection of Letterpress Winter cards and she liked this one the best so I used it for my holiday swap. I hope that you like it too. I also hope that you all have a great weekend and when you’re ready for your holiday sparkles get them here!
Hey Hey! Here is another card using the Letterpress Winter stamp set. I’ve used that stamp set for the last three projects that I posted yet they all look entirely different. I’m telling ya folks, these stamp sets are V-E-R-S-A-T-I-L-E!
This Christmas card is easy. No fancy equipment. Just a single stamp pad, ink, paper, and ribbon. I did add some bling but this is to be expected from me. 😉 More Letterpress Winter to come soon! My goal is to use this set and show as many examples as I can in the time that I have so stop back by and check it out!
As promised I’m sharing another creation using the stamp set from the 2014 Holiday Catalog, Letterpress Winter.
For some reason lately my colors are looking yellowish and faded when I take my photos. I tried to boost the color with an online program and now it looks like I’m using a neon green. Sorry for the misrepresentation friends, but this is a much calmer Pear Pizzazz. 😉
I’m loving the Frosted Sequins. It really adds a nice bling factor! And check out the Designers Series Paper “All Is Calm” on page 22 of the catalog. Again, this is very versatile and will work on many other projects besides Christmas.
Anywho, I hope you have a great weekend! Craft on crafters and if you to need supply items please shop with me!
Hello! It has been awhile since I have posted but not by choice! I tell you that these kiddos have taken control. But I did get to sneak a few minutes of stamping in this weekend. I got the new set Letterpress Winter and my goal is to show you lots of different cards with just that set. Stampin’ Up’s stamp sets are versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.
The background snowflakes are stamped in Craft White and the sentiment in Soft Suede. It’s matted with a simple piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.
Look at this sparkly snow! Easy peasy with the new glimmer paper. I LOVE how it turned out. Once again, the picture doesn’t do it justice. I’ll have to talk to my photographer about this. 😉
The ribbon is literally a piece of scrap from the burlap ribbon that I had laying on a shelf. I just gussied it up with a metal button and baker’s twine.
To prove my point about NO TIME to type let alone craft, here I am right now trying to post this with my demanding new boss. But we’ve talked it out. There are more goodies to share coming up soon!
