Hey Hey! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We are now in full swing of the Christmas season! I went through some old Pinterest favorites and did a little remix on color/paper and it really changed up the look of this card.
I used the retired Bigz Snow Flurry die on our Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper and pared it with a Glimmer Brad. I stamped the sentiment in Baked Brown Sugar and the card stock is crumb cake with coordinating DSP.
My husband is building me a new craft desk for Christmas so I’ll be sure to post a picture when everything is put together! And perhaps this will help make me more productive in the crafting department?! I’m going to go with a big fat yes. 🙂
Hello! It has been awhile since I have posted but not by choice! I tell you that these kiddos have taken control. But I did get to sneak a few minutes of stamping in this weekend. I got the new set Letterpress Winter and my goal is to show you lots of different cards with just that set. Stampin’ Up’s stamp sets are versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.
The background snowflakes are stamped in Craft White and the sentiment in Soft Suede. It’s matted with a simple piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.
Look at this sparkly snow! Easy peasy with the new glimmer paper. I LOVE how it turned out. Once again, the picture doesn’t do it justice. I’ll have to talk to my photographer about this. 😉
The ribbon is literally a piece of scrap from the burlap ribbon that I had laying on a shelf. I just gussied it up with a metal button and baker’s twine.
To prove my point about NO TIME to type let alone craft, here I am right now trying to post this with my demanding new boss. But we’ve talked it out. There are more goodies to share coming up soon!
Alas, the new goodies are here! Of course I dove in right away. I do believe that the Blackberry Bliss is my new favorite in color. There is just something about that deep purple! It seems to change color when the light hits it. If I had to guess, I would say this color is going to be big this fall.
For this card I used the Moonlight DSP stacks. There are 48 sheets in each stack and it is ONLY $6.95! The stamped image and the layer behind it are from the same paper collection. There is a wide variety of color and patter and they’re all cute! The sentiment is from the new Say Something stamp set. This set really has a little something for every event and it has a coordinating punch set which I used for the flowers on the banner. Look for the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack when you get your catalog.
Do you need a new glossy vibrant GORGEOUS 249 page catalog filled with awesome ideas?! Shoot me an email and I’ll get one mailed to you for free! Bridgette1205@aol.com
I’m playing along again at Create With Connie and Mary. For this card I used the stamp sets From My Heart and Everything Eleanor. For my flowers I used the Sizzlit Floral Fusion. I used the same technique mentioned in a previous post for peeling the layers of petals. It really makes the flowers look full without using a lot of paper. In fact, every inch of paper on this card was made with left over scraps! Even the card base itself was left over! Remember to save your scraps, they sure do come in handy!
Here is the challenge sketch! Feel free to play along at http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com
