Happy Valentine’s Day

Well, Happy almost Valentines’s Day! I would post tomorrow in true celebration of the holiday but it also happens to be my wedding anniversary. So here is a “love” card I made with some of our new products.

Some products aren’t so new like the gold sequence trim and the chevron embossing folder. The ribbon is from the Sale-a-bration catalog and is a wee bit brighter than the Crisp Cantaloupe (it’s Calypso Coral) but I like the way it pops! I used the new “Stacked with Love DSP Stack” in the Occasions catalog that I loooove. In this picture one of the banners is from the same paper stack and the other is the fancy gold foil paper.

The stamp set is “Crazy About You” and I tell you, you can use this stamp set for any occasion. From “Happy Spring” to “Celebrating Father’s Day”. CUTE CUTE CUTE! And it also has a couple flowers. I used the coordinating Flower Medallion punch under the sentiment.

I think my next purchase is going to be the Bouquet Bigz L Die so be prepared for some flower projects to come! Ugh, I am ready for spring. Are you with me?

Happy Easter!

Good Thoughts

Happy Easter Everyone!

It has been a few days since I posted. We went on spring break to the Outer Banks. All was well minus the one day of 48 degree weather. It was so COLD and just thinking about the wind makes me want to crawl under a blanket! But it was fun and a good get away.

So here is a simple card using the Perfect Pennants stamp set. I stamped the circle first with the Hello Doily background stamp in Crisp Cantaloupe then stamped the sentiment on top in Soft Suede. Easy peasy one, two, threesy! 😉

My next post will be a cute card box that I made. Stay tuned for more!

Ms. Belle’s Pretties

Hi There!

Today is laundry day which is exactly why I am posting and NOT doing laundry. 🙂 It is important in life to have priorities you know.  Today’s share is a box I made for my stamping assistant. She always makes me the cutest little cards but they started taking up a lot of desk space so I made a little box to keep all of her precious gifts in. I found a tutorial by Sam Donald that I am going to share here. It is very easy to follow, she has a wonderful British accent and pretty hands. If I did a video you would think Fred Flinstone was demonstrating. Yes readers, my hands are indeed that bad! 😉

I used the Chalk Talk Framelits for my tag. The label was printed using the Stampin’ Up! My Digital Studio. The twine tied around the Ruffle Stretch Ribbon is actually a thread off of the Burlap Ribbon. I really love how the punched flower mimics the flowers on the Sweet Sorbet DSP.

Here is a beautiful example of my assistant’s art work. As you can see it is gorgeous and it just melts my heart. I have a creative baby and I am so happy to share my obsession… um I mean hobby with her! 😀
