This little cutie is for my dear friend Becca. Just a 3×3 to let her know that I was thinking of her and of course I used the Punch Board to make a coordinating envelope. The “hello” comes from the Perfect Pennants stamp set and I used the Banners Framelits.
The card stock is the Baked Brown Sugar (I always want to call it burnt brown sugar, that doesn’t sound very appetizing does it?!) and I stamped with the wood grain back ground stamp and put a layer of vellum on it to soften it up a bit. The little bling is from the gold sequence trim.
So there you go. Easy Peasy three by threesee. Yes, I am the dork that said that! Ha!

The holiday season is upon us but there is a holiday in the mix that I fear does not get the attention that it deserves. Veterans Day is a holiday that should be celebrated by everyone that enjoys their freedom. Sadly, I think we’ve come to a time where that freedom is taken for granted. My daughter and I wanted to celebrate the holiday by letting our friends and neighbors (whom are all veterans!) know how much we appreciate them so we baked some cookies and delivered them with this cute tag on the front.
I used the Star framelits and ran them through the Big Shot using the chevron embossing folder. I stamped with the Land Of The Free stamp in Cherry Cobbler and Midnight Muse. I tied it all together with the Cherry Cobbler baker’s twine.
I hope that you had the opportunity to thank someone you know that has served our country!
Hello! It has been awhile since I have posted but not by choice! I tell you that these kiddos have taken control. But I did get to sneak a few minutes of stamping in this weekend. I got the new set Letterpress Winter and my goal is to show you lots of different cards with just that set. Stampin’ Up’s stamp sets are versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.
The background snowflakes are stamped in Craft White and the sentiment in Soft Suede. It’s matted with a simple piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.
Look at this sparkly snow! Easy peasy with the new glimmer paper. I LOVE how it turned out. Once again, the picture doesn’t do it justice. I’ll have to talk to my photographer about this. 😉
The ribbon is literally a piece of scrap from the burlap ribbon that I had laying on a shelf. I just gussied it up with a metal button and baker’s twine.
To prove my point about NO TIME to type let alone craft, here I am right now trying to post this with my demanding new boss. But we’ve talked it out. There are more goodies to share coming up soon!
