It’s another color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!

This was a fun one but I am not going to say a lot about my card on this post. Not because I don’t want to but because I hurt so bad from gardening all day! It hurts to just sit here. Good grief! But I will say that my flower bed looks much better. šŸ™‚

Make a Wish

I used the Perfect Pennant stamp set for this one along with the star framelits. Did you miss the cool Notebook DSP in the catalog?Ā  Got cha! I made this cute notebook paper lookalike easily with my Spiral Border Punch and Stampin’ Write Markers! I used a piece of 3.25″ x 4″ card stock and ran a fine line vertically with Calypso Coral and make a horizontal line every quarter of an inch. And that’s all she wrote! šŸ™‚

Because I Just Can’t Stop!

Hey Hey! A few posts ago I shared a card that I made for my lovely neighbor. Well, I just couldn’t stop at a card. I saw a great box tutorial by fellow demonstrator Vicky Hayes that you can see here.

However, I did change up the dimensions on the lid. I wanted both the lid and the pretty box underneath to show. IĀ  made the box and put some wine tags in it because she makes her own wine and gives bottles as gifts.

I stamped my flowers (Flower Shop Set) in Calypso Coral and my go to for all things pretty, MELON MAMBO! šŸ˜‰ The ribbon is the 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon on page 207 of the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog.

The stamp on the tag is from the hostess set “Hello There”. I love that stamp set!! By using the “For You” stamp on the tag she can give the bottles for any occasion and it will work.

I’m happy to say that she did love it and she sent me a picture of a tag on one of her bottles! What a fun gift!
