As promised here is another Betsy’s Blossoms card. This is a CASE card that my upline demonstrated a few years ago. I just switched the stamp sets out. The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set. The flower is from the Fun Flowers Bigz die (which is on sale this week only!). Always Artichoke and Old Olive are an unlikely pair but look nice together. I hope you think so too! 🙂
As promised here is another Betsy’s Blossoms card. I’m really loathing the frame around it but once I hit save it was too late so we are stuck with it. Or maybe the frame is good. Perhaps it will distract you from seeing that I was late for my friend’s birthday. So sorry Becca! I hope this card made up for it!
I used Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride, and Pistachio Pudding for my colors. I didn’t have any ribbon to match so I just made my own using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch! Have I mentioned that I ❤ Stampin’ Up?! Yes indeedy, I do! On the bottom portion of the card I used the Dictionary background stamp. I stamped it off once because I didn’t want it to overwhelm the card, just add a little J’en sai quoi.
I added a button and twine for eye candy and my sentiment… well it is a hostess set from a few years ago. I honestly don’t remember the name of it and if I have to go up the stairs one more time just to check the box I’m sure that my legs will fall off so we are going to leave it a mystery for now. 😉
Happy Spring Everybody!
As I type this I am sitting in the backyard trying to soak up some rays while they last! Aren’t the colors on this card springy?! This is a CASE card that I just love. The original designer is Amanda Mertz (www.didyoustamptoday.blogspot.com). I just changed up some of the colors, sentiment, and ribbon.
I kept with the Crumb Cake but used Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and of course Melon Mambo! I used Sassy Salutations for the sentiment and popped it off with the Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon.
At my next event our guest star will be none other than the lovely Betsy… Betsy’s Blossoms that is. We are going to be focusing on good ol’ Betsy, so my next few posts on here will be made with that stamp set. Stay tuned for more! 🙂
