Ghosts of Halloween Past and Present

Well happy FRIDAY! I hope you haven’t fallen over. It’s true, I’m posting more than once this week but I had to share these cute bags I made using the Gift Bag Punch Board. I decided to make some cute treat bags for some teachers at my daughter’s school. I used old and new supplies and I’m happy with the way everything came out!

Ghosts

These are super easy to make and fun! And I’m thinking they’ll like the Ferrero Rocher chocolates inside. 😉 Thanks for stopping by! Think ahead friends and make your own bags for Christmas! Shop with me for your supplies here!

Here is a great tutorial on how to make the gift bag topper!

Not M.I.A!

Hello Crafty Friends!

I am sorry if it seems that I have been M.I.A. I have simply been in a creative funk. You know how it goes. I had a good “talking to” with myself and got into the craft room. I made a couple of gift card holders that I think are pretty nifty. Yes… nifty. I said it. 😉

Gift Card 1

They are super easy to make. Seriously, just FIVE steps! Check it out!

Gift Card Holder

Of course decorating is the fun part!

Gift Card 2

I made some during Christmas time the same way, just a different look. And I love the envelope that I made using the Punch Board! I went over the “S” with Crystal Effects and it makes it so cool looking with that shine. 🙂

Oh yes! Forgot to mention… I didn’t have any current ribbon to match so I used Hello Honey with the Crushed Curry and I waited in silence to hear the siren from the fashion police. No one came! I am here to tell you that it is safe to use the two colors together.

Not sure why the pictures turned out yellowish but this is Bermuda Bay and it is one of my favorites!

Anywho, that’s all for today folks. I am glad to say that I am not M.I.A. In fact I’ve got a brand new craft desk I’m using. Pictures coming soon! Don’t forget to get your shop on for supplies at my store.

Flower Tutorial?

new

So I really can’t say that this is a flower tutorial because it is SO easy. The Stampin’ Up Flower Frenzy Die is a staple for gorgeous flowers.  I used Real Read card stock, added a little bling with a Vintage Faceted Button, Basic Pearls, and SHA-ZAM! That easy! The stamp is from the Tiny Tags set (oh how I love that one!). I made this as a gift for a good looking couple I know up north. 😉

You literally run your die through the Big Shot, shape your flowers (I just curved mine up), and glue! Literally three steps to get this flower. Then put the cherry on top, BLING of course!

And a happy November to you friends! As I post this there are 51 days 14 hours and 22 minutes until Christmas Day! Wondering how much time you have left when you read this? Click here to find out. For shopping ideas visit my store here!

Fluffy Flower Card With Tutorial

I love the look of flowers on cards but don’t like when they look like plain jane cut-outs. I tweaked with this flower until I was happy with the fuller looking petals. It is only two pieces of paper but it looks like a whole lot more. Here’s how ya do it:

Tutorial

1. Die cut or punch two flowers with Stampin’ Up card stock (I have tried this with other brands of card stock and because the quality is lower, it is impossible to use this technique!).

2. Start pinching the edges of the petals.

3. You will start to see the petals starting to split.

4. Once you see that each petal has split, gently pull the petals apart.

5. Marvel at your creation! 🙂

Happy Birthday

For this card I used:

Basic Gray, Smokey Slate, Crushed Curry, and Primrose Petals Card Stock

Fun Flowers Bigz L Die Cut

Beautiful Wings Embosslits
