Color Repeat?

Hello Friends!

It’s color challenge time at Create with Connie and Mary! Clearly I did not look ahead when I posted last week’s challenge card or I would have chosen a different color scheme! But I did change it up a bit. My last two cards have been ink free so I decided to stamp it up a little. Get it? Stampin’ Up?! HAHAHA! Cheddar moment! 😀

I used the Butterfly Basics set along with a little flower from Friendly Wishes that I inked with the Stampin’ Write Markers. My thread is actually a strip I unraveled from the Burlap Ribbon. It’s got a bit more umph than the linen thread if that makes sense!

Happy1Thanks for stopping by and if you’re looking for inspiration be sure to check out the rest of the designer’s cards and play along at Create With Connie and Mary!

  1. What a sweet combination of butterflies and flowers and the row of polka dots below is a nice contrast. Also, it’s nice to know that the Burlap ribbon is multi-purpose!

  2. I always feel like it is more fun to create cards with a lot of stamping, and the panel you stamped here is so pretty! The polka dots in your banners and strip of dsp are a great touch!

  3. So cute! I love the images you chose to create your panel of DSP. And polka dots are my favorite! Love how you incorporated those into the DSP’s. Love it!

  4. I am off to unravel some burlap now….your burlap twine looks fab!! I love your custom DSP too….so pretty!! Great card. 🙂
