Color challenge time! That’s right friends, join us over at Create With Connie and Mary and put your creativity to work! I also decided to play along at CAS(E) this Sketch! I thought this layout was fun.

Did you notice my arch nemesis Soft Sky?! But ya know what, I didn’t fight him. I went with the flow. We’re not chummy by any means but at least it wasn’t a throw down this time! 🙂

Blackberry Bliss

I got a little “stampy” with this one… Ok, I got a LOT stampy!  I used three different sets, Really Good Greetings, Butterfly Basics, and Beautiful Bunch. When I went to stamp my fern I accidentally stamped it into the Blackberry Bliss and without realizing it Stamped it into the Smoky Slate. The picture doesn’t show it too well but I got a multicolored fern that looks pretty cool. I just hope I didn’t forever ruin the ink pad!

  1. Love the stamping, pattern and texture of your card – they all work so well together! Commiserations regarding the stamp pad – I had a customer in one of my classes put a stamp previously used with Blackberry Bliss in the Soft Sky ink pad without cleaning; this ink pad was damaged beyond repair, so if you manage to rescue yours do share your tips Bridgette please!

  2. What a pretty card! There is nothing like design team color challenges to conquer a color nemesis. Lol. Love the ferns around the greeting. I have had the same color tint thing happen, only mine has been because the stamp cleaner pad had Blackberry Bliss ink on it. But I like the effect.

  3. I am so sorry I am late with my comments for this challenge! Graduation happened and we had lots of company that stayed into the week after graduation. There was just no time at my computer!

I love this card! I have a co-worker who is leaving and this card is just her style! I might have to “lift” this card and create one for her!
