Happy Almost Summer Friends!
I am writing with a wee bit of a sunburn but I LOVE it! This week is another fun sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary. I gravitated towards Blackberry Bliss this time. Here is my take on the sketch:
My sentiment is from the Petite Pairs set. Most of the card stock I used on this card is from my scrap pile, including the punched flower and top square on the left. I tell you, I save EVERYTHING! It was already embossed from prior projects and I just put the pieces together.
Yibida Yibida, That’s all folks! Thanks for stopping by. Get your craft on and play this week’s challenge here!

Oh, I love it when a scrap project comes together! Yours turned out beautiful!
I save scraps but forget to use them so kudos for using your scraps! Love that scrunched up flower especially with the bling!
Love this card. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad that we have social media where we can share ideas and inspire each other! 🙂
This is such a great combination of colors and textures – just goes to show how inspiring scraps can be! Beautiful card!
Fabulous card! I love cards made from scraps…I’m like you and I never thrown anything out. I am obsessed with your scrunchy flower…is there some stamping on it too?? Looks like sequins reflected in it. Gorgeous!!!
Love the colours and textures of your card Bridgette – what a great way to use up your scraps! I save everything too, but I often wonder why as I rarely dive into the scrap box!
Love it! Very cool!
Isn’t it a great feeling when you can pull scraps together to create such a gorgeous card!! Love the colors and textures you’ve used on your creation!
I always love when I can pull a card together using my “starts” as I call them! Great job pulling everything together for the sketch! (I’m so thankful I didn’t get sunburned while in Hawaii! Was really afraid I would since the sun is so much stronger there!)
