Hello crafting friends!
There is a fun sketch this week at Create with Connie and Mary! I brought out my favorite color for this one. MELON MAMBO and a lot of it!
Here is my take:
I haven’t played with my fringe scissors in awhile and decided to get them out. I also decided to play with the tried and true uni-ball Signo gel pen. I used it to draw dots on my Bermuda Bay card stock. The white shows up great! I decided to use the Honeycomb embossing folder, I felt that it mimicked the shapes in the Back to Black DSP nicely. I used the new hand held stapler to attach my 1/4″ cotton ribbon and bling. 😉
I used Sassy Salutations for my sentiment. Just felt that it paired nice with my sassy pink. 🙂 Come play this week’s sketch challenge here!
Here is another shot of the white ink from the uni-ball Signo pen on the Bermuda Bay:
Hope everyone has a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
Yes indeed friends! There was certainly a fight between myself and this color combo. Seems that anytime Soft Sky is involved the struggle beings. Take a look at the color challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary. Hopefully you will be on friendly terms with all of the colors. 😉
I used Soft Sky with my stamped flowers from the Something to Say set and I used the Hello You thinlit set for the sentiment. I layered it with three layers of card stock and topped it with Crystal Effects (I know, I’m hooked). I made a boo boo, I thought that the DSP was in the Occasions catalog. I certainly wish that it were. It is fun to play with!
I also used some Basic Gray candy dots on the flower centers. I’d love to see what you can do with this color challenge, come and play along here!
Hey Hey Gang!
Get ready because it’s sketch challenge time at Create with Connie and Mary! Isn’t this a fun one? Come join and get your craft on! Here is my take on the sketch:
I used the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and heat embossed it in white and mounted it on the Real Red heart that I made using the new Sweetheart punch. My cute little paper trio on the left side is from the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack. I can’t forget about the Happy Heart Textured Impressions folder. Oh my, I have so many favorites that I hope Stampin’ Up carry over!
It’s another color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!
This was a fun one but I am not going to say a lot about my card on this post. Not because I don’t want to but because I hurt so bad from gardening all day! It hurts to just sit here. Good grief! But I will say that my flower bed looks much better. 🙂
I used the Perfect Pennant stamp set for this one along with the star framelits. Did you miss the cool Notebook DSP in the catalog? Got cha! I made this cute notebook paper lookalike easily with my Spiral Border Punch and Stampin’ Write Markers! I used a piece of 3.25″ x 4″ card stock and ran a fine line vertically with Calypso Coral and make a horizontal line every quarter of an inch. And that’s all she wrote! 🙂
Hey Gang! It’s another sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary! This was a fun one to work with. I wrestled with my color combo but finally came up with this number. Naturally, there is some pink involved. Ha!
This is a Strawberry Slush and Basic Gray duo. I used the Hardwood background stamp on the gray with Craft Stampin’ Ink and topped it with the In Colors DSP. I want us all to have a moment of silence… in hopes that Strawberry Slush will be continued! Oh my, I LOVE it!
The stamps sets I used are Crazy About You and For Being You. I used the Banner Punch and trimmed it with the Paper Snips. The Pansy punched DSP is topped with a Basic Metal Button and Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
I hope you’ll play along with us this week! It is certain to get your creative mojo flowing! Click here to join in the fun!
