Hey there! It’s a color challenge this week over at Create with Connie and Mary. and I decided to play along at Retrosketches I have a weird relationship with Soft Sky. It really looks so pretty until I get my hands on it. I know, it sounds crazy. I probably need help with this along with my paper hoarding!
So, I used it minimally but it did make a cute little butterfly.
The stamp set is from the Butterfly Basics. I used the new Hello You thinlit die for the sentiment. I just used two of the oval framelits to create the frame and bumped it up with some dimensionals. And there ya have it, Soft Sky and all! π

This card is lovely Bridgette – your frame overlapping the flowers is very clever and I love the die cut sentiment. Your Soft Sky butterfly is the perfect finishing touch!
Oh, the frame is a great idea and I love the blue butterfly! Great job with the color challenge this week.
Haha!! I have colors like that, too – I want to use them, everybody else is using them, but I end up putting them back! Your oval frame is really pretty, and the Soft Sky butterfly is a perfect accent. Great card!
Love the clever way that you created your card with the different elements! Your Soft Sky butterfly is just right π
What a perfect way to frame the greeting! The butterflies in the corner are the perfect little addition!
Very pretty! Love your “framed” work of art!
Your card looks as if it almost has two frames… the oval and then rectangular! What a great look and placing the flowers where they extend into the oval frame is such a great look!! Love this!
