Happy Sunday!

I’m playing along again at Create With Connie and Mary. For this card I used the stamp sets From My Heart and Everything Eleanor. For my flowers I used the Sizzlit Floral Fusion. I used the same technique mentioned in a previous post for peeling the layers of petals. It really makes the flowers look full without using a lot of paper. In fact, every inch of paper on this card was made with left over scraps! Even the card base itself was left over! Remember to save your scraps, they sure do come in handy!

Here is the challenge sketch! Feel free to play along at

  1. I really like how you made your flowers – peeling them gives them so much more dimension! And I love how you stamped the filigree behind the sentiment. That is such a great idea. Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary.

  2. I have always loved red and tan together…such a warm color combo! Love the layered flowers with the candy dot in the center. Thanks for playing the Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge this week!
