Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 284 (TSSC284)

Trick or Treat

It is absolutely SPOOKY to think that I have not even posted once this month and it is mid October. SHRIEKKKKK!!!! I have had a lot going on, including mass producing cards for an upline meeting next weekend in Virginia. But alas, I am back and here is a card that I made to play along at the Techno Stampers Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 284 (TSSC284).

I used the Toxic Treat stamp set and a DSP from a few seasons ago. I topped of the rosette with a neutrals button in basic black. The smile on my card is the twine ribbon. Well, technically it is a bow but it makes me smile.

Guess what’s coming by UPS today…  My new Sweater Weather DSP! I have stuck by my goal of using scraps and now it is time to dig into a new pack of yummy beautiful paper, JOY! Only true paper addicts will understand my elation, and if you are one of them, what is your favorite paper?!

Becca Newton, this question also refers to you my talented friend (remember the contract!). 😉

  1. Fulfilling my contractual obligation!! Lol… The love and hoarding of DSP is a very serious illness and, sadly, no cure has been found yet unless you’re able to afford a never-ending supply. I love, love, LOVE SU’s Sweater Weather DSP!! So much that after using half for various cards and stamp camp, I bought another pack so I could have it all to myself;) I”M anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new Christmas DSP; both the Season of Style and Winter Frost – can’t wait to use them. Or maybe just hold them and ooh and ahh. As for all-time favorites – I think my favorite was Everyday Enchantment. It isn’t often that I love each design, front AND back. I’ve saved every little scrap… like I said, it’s a sickness!!
